Roger

"It was really nice to read something good, apart from all the bad news we've been hearing everyday.

Actually, I've been losing hope on humanity these days-full of greed and corruption, but as I read the tweets, I've had this hope that we still share a common humanity.

I am in solidarity with your people. And I don't know how you can do it, but please let Japan know that I am very thankful for the inspiration"

Emily

"Really gives insight of how the Japanese are, what we need to hear rather than the destruction shown on news broadcasts."

Hi! I'm a Filipino and now living in the US. Thank you for your post about the tweets of people in Japan. I was moved. Everything I've read attests to the kindness, gentleness and propriety I've witnessed and experienced when I lived in Japan for 3 1/2 years.

My name is Misti. My husband (Joel) and I are Americans living in Kumamoto. We are posting daily updates on our blog about what is going on. We're noticing differences of focus between international media and local media.

Anyway, we saw the Quake from Twitter Note that you posted. I was crying as I read it. Thank you for sharing! I was wondering if I could copy/paste the tweets w/translations and put them on our blog. I think my friends and family would be touched and hopefully challenged to help.
